Watchmaking, high jewelry.

Extra Plat — the dialDaniel Roth

The black dial of the Rose Gold Gilt: two pieces of solid gold, engine-turned separately. The Roman numerals are masked by transfer, the black comes from a galvanic bath, and lifting the mask brings the gold back. Filmed the way it is made, from the graver to the assembled dial.

Minute Repeater Golden ObsidianGérald Genta

Unveiled at Geneva Watch Days 2026: the same GG-002 caliber, a golden obsidian dial. A stone that absorbs light, filmed on a robotic arm — camera moves no hand could hold.

Geneva Time Only — the casesGérald Genta

The 38 mm cushion case of the Geneva collection, from the lathe to the polish. Shot high key, grey and white, down to pure form — the counterpoint to the chiaroscuro watchmaking usually expects.

Gentissima OursinGérald Genta

223 beads screwed in one by one, here set with diamonds. The setter's hand in macro: the tip, the stone, the bezel closing over it.

Octo Finissimo × Laurent GrassoBvlgari

An edition of 200 pieces with no markers and no logo on the dial — an iridescent cloud silkscreened in seven passes. The film opens at Jumièges Abbey, where the artist works with light, moves through his notebooks and the workshop, and keeps the dial for last. The idea before the object.

Octo Finissimo × Lee UfanBvlgari

Case and bracelet in hand-filed titanium, every piece unique, a mirror dial with no inscription. The film shows nothing else: the files, the steel, the hands. Thirty-three seconds without a word.

Gioco di Forme e ColoriBvlgari

High Jewelry Watches, the first secret watch: a twelve-carat tanzanite under a detachable brooch. The film opens on the stone, before the setting, before the reveal — and takes its color, blue.

FeniceBvlgari

The second secret watch: the phoenix of the 140th anniversary, a Paraíba tourmaline of nearly ten carats. Same construction, from the stone to the reveal — and its color, pink.

HikariBulgari Hotel Tokyo

The opening of the hotel, seen through a house ambassador. Rather than describe the place, we move through it with her, at night: the pool, the window over the city, the table. Treatment, moodboard and storyboard beforehand, a small crew on the day.

TomohisaBulgari Hotel Tokyo

The same hotel at dawn, with him. Two temperaments, two lights: a diptych shown as a pair, never apart.

Aeterna — High Jewelry show, KyotoBvlgari

The film of the event: the Aeterna collection presented in Kyoto — the pieces laid on the raw stone of a temple, the show under a Roman set design, the dinner. The place first, the jewelry after.

Films

The studio's other films — in the order a piece comes together: the drawing, the material, the dial, the movement, the finished watch.

Minute Repeater — the designGérald Genta

Before the watch, the drawing: the house designs its pieces by hand, in gouache, as Gérald Genta did himself. The pencil, the brush, the color laid down — and the finished watch, beside its drawing.

Gentissima Oursin — the gouacheGérald Genta

A sea urchin picked up on a beach, in the designer's hand, then on paper, in gouache: the origin of a dial with 223 beads. The film starts from the source object before showing the watch.

Extra Plat — the casesDaniel Roth

The yellow gold of the Souscription, first to the flame then to the bench: the double ellipse, the signature of the house, taking shape under the loupe.

Minute Repeater — the lacquered dialGérald Genta

Black lacquer poured, smoothed, sanded until it disappears: a dial at the edge of the visible. Black as the subject, on the minute repeater of the Geneva collection.

Extra Plat — the pieceDaniel Roth

The product film of the Rose Gold Gilt: from the black dial to the sapphire caseback, the caliber in view. Delivered in 16:9, 9:16 and 4:5 for the launch.

Extra Plat — the movementDaniel Roth

The DR002 caliber at La Fabrique du Temps: 143 components, 3.1 millimeters. The bridges drilled, the finishing by hand, the ruby set. Macro, raking light, gold and steel.

Minute Repeater — the revealGérald Genta

Yellow gold, black dial, gold hands: the minute repeater revealed in raking light, marker by marker, down to the cabochon on the crown.

Golden Obsidian — the dialGérald Genta

Obsidian in macro: its golden inclusions, the applied markers, the minute track. The product film alone, no hands — the piece as sculpture.

About

Creative studio · Paris

3.0 is a creative studio based in Paris. We conceive, produce and direct films for watchmaking, high jewelry and luxury houses — craftsmanship, product, ambassador portraits, documentaries. Bvlgari, Gérald Genta and Daniel Roth entrust us with their launches, season after season.

Writing comes before the crew. Every project opens with a treatment; the team — direction, camera, editing, sound — is assembled afterwards, according to what the film asks for, through to in-house post-production.

We produce what we write. From the first location scout to delivery, the film stays with the people who conceived it. What was written is what is shot, and what is delivered.

We film what makes a piece singular. We begin by understanding it — its drawing, its material, the gestures that make it — then we wait for the moment the creation takes shape.

Every gesture is written before it is filmed: its angle, its light, its duration. One shot is enough. The source is never shown: you read its effect — on gold, on a stone, on skin.

The same eye, whatever the piece.
